How do I upgrade to xCMS 1.2.x from previous versions of xCMS

SolutionxCMS for X-Cart versions prior to xCMS 1.2.x can be upgraded by simply uploading the new files in place of the old (be aware not to overwrite any changes if you've customized your .tpl files). xCMS 1.2 adds new features which require database changes and one additional file change. We've created the upgrade to be as simple as possible - it does most of the work for you. Just follow these steps to upgrade: Upload the new php files. If you've customized your tpl files you'll want to implement your customizations into the new .tpl files. Upload the new .tpl files. Access your xCMS admin entries section. An upgrade will automatically run and upgrade your database. You will be provided one file change to make to home.php. Click to complete your upgrade.
