When I click on the recover password, or terms and conditions link the popup (modal) window is being displayed at the bottom of the page.

This is caused by either: 1. Invalid HTML somewhere on the page. Likely a stray or tag. A common place for this is the txt_conditions_customer language variable. You can edit this text in the X-Cart admin -> Languages section.2. For versions 1.3 and later the skin1/checkout_one.css file has not been uploaded to the webserver.
